*Responsibilities*

CHI St. Alexius Health Bismarck seeks a PRN RN Clinical Instructor - ACE Preceptor for Medical Oncology to support nursing education and practice, fostering hands-on experience for nursing students during clinical rotations, and promoting excellence in nursing care while upholding our Christian, Catholic, and Benedictine mission.

*Essential Key Job Responsibilities*

  • Welcome and orient nursing students to the practice setting.
  • Attend onboarding training for ACE Preceptors.
  • Provide hands-on clinical experiences for students.
  • Model professional nursing standards and act as a mentor and leader.
  • Use various instructional strategies to enhance critical thinking and clinical judgment.
  • Supervise and instruct two students while managing patient care duties.
  • Provide feedback on student performance to faculty.
  • Participate in seminars and continuing education to stay current.
  • Attend relevant meetings as required.

*Qualifications*

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current unencumbered RN license in North Dakota
  • Basic Life Support certification

*Minimum Requirements*

  • At least two years of bedside nursing experience
  • Formal preceptor training or experience with proven performance
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Advanced nursing skills and critical thinking ability

*Preferred Qualifications*

Specialty professional nursing certification

*Pay Range*

$34.35 - $49.22 per hour
