Engineer: Hardware Job at INTELLISWIFT INC in Santa Clara

Hardware Engineer Experience: 1 to 3 Years, 100% onsite.

Details of the work and required skills include, but are not limited to:

1. Validation and debugging of the Client Reference platform and boards.
2. Lab work involving power-on, functional testing, electrical and stress testing, validation, and circuit/platform debugging.

Top 3 Skills Needed for This Position:

1. PC Motherboard bring-up experience
2. Debugging experience
3. Testing experience

Tool knowledge required for schematics and layout includes Cadence Allegro for PCB layout and OrCAD/Concept for schematics capture. For board debug and validation, familiarity with high-speed oscilloscopes, current meters, DMMs, logic analyzers, and soldering is necessary.

Mandatory skills:

• Excellent board debugging skills with good knowledge of electrical, logical, and layout aspects.
• Strong HW/SW/FW debug knowledge and good board rework skills.
• Ability to operate independently.

Sponsoring considerations:

• If candidates possess all the required skills and demonstrate strength in them, the sponsor will consider candidates with an AA/AS Degree in Science/Engineering related to Electrical/Electronics.

Preferred educational qualification:

• B.E. degree in Science/Engineering in Electrical/Electronics and Communication.

Strong verbal communication and presentation skills are also desired.
