We are seeking a Hardware Engineering Manager for our team in Valley Green, PA.

High speed cable backplane systems are critical for IT and datacom, supporting AI/ML advancements; they require advanced manufacturing technologies and precision engineering. These challenges attract creative, technical minds, offering rewarding experiences for engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers in designing, developing, and testing hardware components and systems for custom cable assemblies.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met on schedule, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with signal integrity engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams for cohesive product development.
• Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
• Manage resource allocation and budgeting for hardware projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Plan for team growth, including scaling resources, participating in recruitment, and onboarding/training new hires.
• Conduct performance reviews and support professional development of team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years in hardware development, including precision components or sheet metal; cable harnessing experience is a plus.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role within a mechanical development team.
• Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, especially Creo.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
