We’re a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all test cases and test tools to ensure the functionality and compatibility of our products. We’re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment.Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Validation Architect in our Validation Engineering group in Austin, TX.**What you’ll achieve** In this role you will be responsible for partnership with peer hardware & system Architecture teams regarding the Validation strategy and key focus areas for our Client PC division. You will participate in the architecture and definition activities associated with methods for validating hardware PC systems and broader solutions and influence the downstream global Validation execution teams. This will include activities like identifying needs for new/different test and diagnostic programs, fixtures, and tools, and helping the Validation execution team identify labor, schedules, equipment, and software required for validating and evaluating our new and innovative solutions.**Take the first step towards your dream career** Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: **Essential Requirements** • Extensive knowledge of PC hardware architecture, design, subsystem components• Extensive experience with PC and/or PC ecosystem Validation principles• 10+ years in large-scale technical corporation• BS in Engineering (Hardware focus ideal -- ME, EE, Thermal, etc.)**Desirable Requirements**• Significant experience in PC ODM or PC OEM corporations (ex: HP, Lenovo, Asus, Compal, Foxconn, etc.)• Significant experience in PC Technology corporations (ex: Microsoft, Intel, AMD, etc.)**Compensation**Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
