Job Title: Controls Hardware Engineer

Location: Wixom, MI

Pay Range: $45 per hour

Company: A leading player in the engineering sector seeking a Controls Hardware Engineer to join the engineering department supporting innovative projects.

About the Role: The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement GM EPLAN Standards (GCCH) for various projects.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed engineering designs.
• Custom engineer and design enclosures using GM standard/template.
• Perform power and heat calculations using GM e-tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical is a plus.
• Experience in custom engineering and design of enclosures.
• Strong analytical skills for power and heat calculations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
