Responsibilities
- Learn professional analog design techniques for one or more of these areas: schematic design, board layout, and board validation
- Design, simulate, and create board level analog signal conditioning circuits (amplification stages, active and passive filters, Analog to Digital or Digital to Analog Converter interfaces) for test and measurement products
- Design, simulate, and create supporting circuitry (switched mode power supplies, clock distribution, digital logic control) for test and measurement products
- Use EDA software for schematic entry and printed circuit board layout
- Create and execute validation plans and test code to verify circuit functionality
- Review and approve product specifications and customer documentation
- Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Test and Manufacturing Engineering to create T&M products

For This Role, You Will Need
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, engineering physics, or physics (or similar)
- Strong knowledge of analog design principles
- Proficiency in both frequency-domain and time-domain design and analysis
- Knowledge of:
- Operational Amplifiers
- Data Converters (Analog to Digital Converters and Digital to Analog Converters)
- Switched mode and linear power supply design
- Passive components
- Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design
- Testing and troubleshooting techniques
- Signal integrity, PCB layout, and grounding principles
- Basic digital design fundamentals
- Understanding of computers and programming languages (e.g. LabVIEW, Python, C, C++)
- Interest in learning about and working with analog, digital, and computer technologies
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
- Minimum overall GPA: B.S. – 3.2, M.S. – 3.5
- Master's Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, engineering physics, or physics (or similar)
- Familiarity with NI products
- Work productively in a team development environment
