Join our team as we continue to expand our product portfolio in the Data Center and Carrier Service Provider sectors. The IP Routing Hardware organization features a very flat structure, with few management levels between individual contributors and the VP of Hardware. We operate efficiently, allowing each Hardware Engineer to focus more on engineering work and less on overhead. As a result, your work will have high visibility, and your decisions will directly impact product design.
Qualifications Minimum B.Sc or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
10+ years of experience designing complex PCB designs
Understanding of ultra high-speed PCB circuit design and methodologies
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and leadership skills
It would be advantageous if you also have:
Experience with stack-up design, signal integrity simulation, and power circuitry
Familiarity with EMC/EMI/Safety standards and ITU/IEEE/Bellcore telecommunications standards
Programming/Scripting skills (C/Python)
Responsibilities As a Hardware Engineer, you will:
Design complex, multilayer printed circuit boards
Drive and manage your design through the development process from concept to production release
Verify prototype hardware under thermal and environmental conditions
Collaborate with the Factory to release high-quality products
Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
