Overview Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr. This job is hosted by Jobot. This role is for a Wireless Systems Engineer working on wireless connectivity between terrestrial Bluetooth devices and satellites. The position is full-time with preference to be based in Seattle, WA (Relocation Assistance Available) but open to a remote work option for senior/more experienced candidates.

Responsibilities Develop and implement algorithms to enable wireless connectivity between Terrestrial Bluetooth devices and satellites.
Engage in modeling, system design, and implementation of wireless communication; collaborate with cross-functional teams of hardware and software engineers.
Contribute across all stages of the project lifecycle from concept to deployment with an emphasis on rapid, reliable delivery.
Qualifications Basic qualifications: 2 years of directly relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree (Masters preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Strong understanding of communication theory and signal processing-related algorithm design (e.g., channel estimation, equalization, beamforming, timing recovery, coding, error correction).
Knowledge of wireless communication protocols (5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, 802.11ad/ay, Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy).
Experience developing signal processing and wireless communication systems (FSK/OFDM/MIMO) and hands-on lab testing/characterization.
Proficiency with Matlab or Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation.
Experience with High Level Synthesis (HLS), silicon prototyping, FPGA development, and emulation systems.
Experience on bring-up of real systems in silicon/FPGA/SoC and use of lab test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generator).
Ability to work independently and learn new technologies rapidly; strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment; readiness to work extended hours and weekends for highly critical events.
Strong passion for creating state-of-the-art software and systems.
Preferred / Strongly Desired 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience with multi-radio coexistence management; modem architecture; hardware and software control.
Experience with low power algorithm design for power-critical applications.
