Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics (BSc/MSc) with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in mechanical CAD software, particularly Solidworks.
  • Familiarity with electronic CAD tools, such as Altium or Orcad.
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting intricate issues.
  • Knowledge of safety and metrological standards like ATEX, UL, IECEx, MID, OIML, Inmetro, and NOM.
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
  • An understanding of technical project management practices.
  • Familiarity with software development tools, specifically LabVIEW and C, is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • As a Mechatronics Engineer at Dover Fueling Solutions, take ownership of the design, development, and testing of electromechanical components and subsystems for electric vehicle chargers and fuel dispensers utilized in global markets.
  • Ensure accountability for the testing of components and products concerning specifications and performance standards.
  • Be responsible for electrical designs for electric vehicles (under 1000VDC and 1500A) and the development of Electronic-PCBAs.
  • Participate in field support and assist in the maintenance of systems.
  • Provide comprehensive technical documentation packages for all projects undertaken.
