Overview

Hardware Engineer III: 64689-1. Location: Redmond, WA. Duration: 12 month extension with good performance. This role is 100% onsite (5 days per week).

Responsibilities

• Operating optical HW prototypes (including PCB boards, electrical flexes, cameras, LEDs)
• Operating on existing SW tools (running command line scripts and GUI, familiarity with on demand server)
• Basic SW/HW troubleshooting skills (basic understanding of command line scripts, practices like restarting HW etc)
• Train moderators on how to use prototype devices
• Ability to drive to and from Meta Campus to vendor sites for weekly checks on prototype devices

Qualifications

5+ years of experience and have good firmware and data analytics background with HW/prototype development background as well. Familiar with common program languages and commands.

Top 3 must-have HARD skills

1. Operating hardware prototypes. ( EE background is great)
2. Software or Electrical engineer degree is a must
3. Must be a strong problem solver and great with debugging systems

Good to have skills

• Hardware prototyping engineering background would be perfect
• Hardware Test Engineer would be good.
• Mechanical Test engineer would likely not be a good fit
