Responsibilities
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master’s degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
Qualifications
Senior Digital Hardware Designer in Scottsdale, AZ. The role involves researching, designing, developing and testing electronic equipment and systems including radar detection/communications equipment, circuitry components, computers, and digital signal processing equipment.
Role and Objectives
Senior Digital Design Engineer to advance cutting-edge technology supporting national security missions. The engineer will work with esteemed customers to develop solutions for high-stakes defense/intelligence systems.
Responsibilities (example tasks)
- Exercise creative thinking to advance business performance.
- Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet changing needs.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to lower-level designers.
- Follow industry trends to ensure client services meet or exceed best practices.
Experience
- Experience with schematic capture.
- Extensive experience designing multi-layer Printer Circuit Boards with controlled impedance and blind micro-vias.
- Ability to analyze and test for signal integrity, crosstalk, etc.
- Familiar with several families of Micro Processors, Micro Controllers, FPGAs and System-on-Chips.
- Ability to lead/mentor engineers and exercise independent judgment.
Preferred Experience
- Mentor design tools experience (preferred).
- High Reliability or Space experience.
- Experience with Worst Case Analysis, Stress Analysis.
