Must have
- A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- A deep understanding of essential optical components and analog circuits.
- Experience in RF testing at the die or module level.
- More than 8 years of experience in measuring, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex mixed-signal designs.
- Familiarity with tools such as Python, Git, Matlab, or JMP.
- Ability to write scripts for validation, debugging, data analysis, and automation.
- Highly responsive to urgent, critical issues.
- Consistent, tenacious, and efficient in work.
- Capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Extensive knowledge of optical lab equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop validation test methods for new photonic designs originating from the Mixed-Signal Design group.
- Collaborate with various teams to facilitate chip validation and transition to production.
- Characterize the fundamental optical, electro-optical, and RF performance of new chip designs.
- Validate, debug, and assess new analog, photonic, electrical-optical, and mixed-signal designs.
- Provide feedback to designers regarding silicon performance, design quality, and margins.
- Ensure electrical-optical compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor new engineers in validation methodologies.

Your base salary will be determined according to your location, experience, and pay standards for similar roles. The base salary range is $168,000 to $264,500 for Level 4, and $196,000 to $310,500 for Level 5. Additionally, you will be eligible for equity and benefits.
