Torch Technologies, an employee-owned company, is seeking a driven and talented Senior Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. Our Technology Integration and Prototyping Center (TIPC) engineering team is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating complex solutions. The TIPC electronics team specializes in advanced hardware products for aerospace and military systems, including ground/air vehicles, missiles, radars, and space systems. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong technical skills, team-oriented, and experienced in PCB design, schematic design, firmware development, digital and analog circuits, PCB layout, and FPGA firmware development, with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing and designing highly complex electrical hardware products from concept to production.
2. Creating product specifications, solving technical challenges, and ensuring performance standards are met.
3. Collaborating with mechanical and firmware engineering teams.
4. Developing schematics, testing, debugging circuit boards and sub-assemblies, PCB layouts, and FPGA firmware.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Strong understanding of digital and analog hardware for embedded systems.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical hardware design, including schematic design, PCB layout, and firmware development.
• Experience with lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Additional 10+ years of experience in electrical hardware design.
