Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Security and Hardware Technical SETA to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will provide support to the Program Manager (PM), guide and supervise advanced research in secure software and hardware systems, coordinate technical reviews, and assist with the development, integration, testing, and transition of prototype systems. Work Location: On site, Arlington VA.
Travel: 10-20%
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Program Manager for an innovative program.
- Guide and supervise advanced research in secure software and hardware systems.
- Coordinate technical reviews and assist with the development, integration, testing, and transition of prototype systems.
- Contribute to national security initiatives as part of the team.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience in embedded hardware development, embedded systems programming, cybersecurity (especially for embedded systems).
- Expertise in Secure Execution Environments (e.g., TEEs, TPMs); experience with offensive and defensive cyber techniques including reverse engineering and vulnerability assessment; cyber red-teaming.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Active Top Secret Clearance.
Desired Experience
- Mixed real/virtual testbeds (Live Virtual Constructive).
- Test and Evaluation planning, infrastructure setup, and execution (CONUS and OCONUS).
- Contested/non-benign operational environments.
- Clandestine or covert cyber operations.
- Telco systems and operators.
- Agile development methodologies.
- SAPs/CAPs or other sensitive programs.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
