The Role
The SMS Sector is seeking an RF Hardware and Electronics Engineer to perform integration and test activities in a Research & Development environment. In this role, you will be an integral part of a team developing a cutting-edge space-based radar system. Your responsibilities will include development and utilization of RF systems in support of satellite operations. This position offers significant opportunities for career growth within a fast-paced and rapidly expanding company.
What you will do
- Design, simulate and test RF hardware systems, focusing on RF component integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and/or develop system requirements and specifications
- Conduct performance analysis through simulations and real-world testing to validate system performance
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to convey technical concepts and project updates
- Prepare documentation, design specifications, test plans, and reports
Who you are
- Active Security Clearance at the Secret level, for which U.S citizenship is needed by the U.S government
- Demonstrated experience designing, simulating and testing RF systems
- Strong experience with Linux and Python (or other high level programming languages)
- Extensive experience with lab electronics and RF test equipment (power supplies, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc)
- Experience in preparing and delivering briefings, familiarity with the execution of technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMS)
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of applicable experience; or Master’s degree with relevant experience. Equivalent experience will be considered

- Active Security Clearance at the Top Secret (TS) level
- Applicable understanding of and experience with Radar systems and their principles of design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis
- Capable of working in a team environment and interacting with team members to ensure effective communication and alignment
