Materials Manager (Warehouse & Technical Hardware) at Anduril Industries. What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with regulations.
• Hire and train talent to manage material flow per Anduril guidelines.
• Develop processes that increase efficiency and reduce waste in materials management.
• Implement systems that align with Anduril Federal policies on government property and inventory management.
• Implement end-to-end material management measures (FIFO adherence, material variances, cycle time optimization, scrap/obsolescence management, cycle/physical counting, audits) to ensure inventory accuracy and mitigate stockouts or overstocking; develop and improve critical metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, production, manufacturing engineering, logistics, quality) to support demand forecasting, procurement planning, and timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with production planning to align material availability with schedules and meet customer demand on time.
• Analyze material usage trends and implement lean practices to optimize handling, storage, and distribution.
• Utilize ERP & WMS systems to track inventory, generate reports, and提供 data-driven insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control in material management activities.
• Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team with guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years in material management, inventory control, or supply chain roles in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing
• 2+ years managing a lead of supervisors, associates, or technicians
• Ability to be onsite, local to Santa Ana, CA or Costa Mesa, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, manufacturing or related operations field
• Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and key warehouse fundamentals
• Understanding of receiving and deployment documentation for domestic and international shipments
• Ability to identify safety issues with warehouse vehicles
• Knowledge of AS9100 standards and OSHA laws
• Hands-on experience in warehouse operations with process and equipment troubleshooting
• Passion for employee development and training
• Experience supporting process development and equipment maintenance
• Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Proficient with computers and data presentation
• Reliable, organized, detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication
• Experience ramping low-volume to high-rate operations
• Forklift certification

Salary & Benefits

US Salary Range: $108,000—$162,000 USD. Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision plans, life/AD&D and disability coverage, generous PTO and holiday leave, caregiver & wellness leave, family planning support, mental health resources, professional development stipend, commuter benefits, relocation assistance (where eligible), and 401(k) options (US roles only).
