Our client is looking to hire a Recruiter to join their team for a 2 month contract. The right candidate will be an energetic, people-focused recruiter who has experience driving full-cycle hiring for frontline union positions. You’ll connect with candidates, coordinate with leadership, and help keep staffing levels on track for a fast-paced operation.

In this role, you will:

• Hire for a range of hands-on, entry-level union positions, with occasional recruitment for supervisory roles.
• Balance high call volumes, hiring events, and resume reviews to meet weekly offer and start goals.
• Partner closely with managers to align recruitment efforts with operational needs.
• Manage interview scheduling and recruitment process using Calendly and SmartRecruiters.
• Assess candidates for the right mix of attitude, safety mindset, and dependability.
• Work alongside another recruiter while still managing your own workload.

What We’re Looking For:

Must Have:

• 2+ years of recruiting experience in high-volume, frontline, or entry-level hiring (labor, retail, food service, or other relevant fields).
• Experience working with an ATS.
• Organized, adaptable, and able to keep things moving without sacrificing candidate experience.
• Willing to travel occasionally for same-day trips (travel costs paid for).
• Eligible to work in the U.S.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to the aviation or transportation industries.

Location: South Seattle, 5 days per week onsite with flexible morning start times.

Travel: Occasional travel to Portland by air (same-day round trip, flights paid for), usually twice per month.

Length of Assignment: 2-month contract
