RECRUITER HR-Rethought is an HR consulting firm based out of the Kansas City metropolitan area with clients nationwide. We partner with small to mid-sized businesses (first employee to 200+ employees) and form partnerships as their HR and Recruiting teams. This is a unique opportunity to work with clients across many different industries - from manufacturing to engineering to healthcare.

We are growing and adding a Recruiter to our team who will be responsible for recruiting for a wide variety of positions and cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. Our ideal candidate has a strong talent background and understands that small businesses need a customized approach to their recruiting strategy.

Responsibilities

As a Recruiter, here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Review and evaluate applicant forms and resumes
  • Interview candidates (via phone, video, and in-person)
  • Source potential candidates from various online channels
  • Advertise job openings on career page, social media, job boards, and internally
  • Submit candidates to hiring managers, leadership, and designated representatives
  • Extend verbal job offers and answer questions related to benefits, as required
  • Monitor key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire
  • Design and update job descriptions
  • Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
  • Prepare and distribute numerical, language, and logical reasoning tests
  • Build strong relationships with leaders
  • Address questions and concerns and elevate as necessary
  • Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
  • Act as a mentor to new hires and help them onboard

Requirements

Recruiter Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent professional work experience
  • 2+ years of recent experience in Recruiting, including but not limited to, sourcing, interviewing and direct partnerships with hiring managers
  • 1+ years of client facing and/or account management experience
  • Technologically savvy; ability to quickly and easily learn new software
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgement with confidence and ability to make decisions independently
  • Strong follow-through capabilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time

Schedule

8 hour shift - Monday to Friday

Hybrid schedule - 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Work Location

Ability to commute on a hybrid basis to Overland Park, KS 66210 area.

Ability to relocate to the Kansas City Metropolitan area before starting work (no relocation assistance provided)

Requirements

Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation

Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

Must be willing to execute HR-Rethought’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality, and non-disclosure.
