Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Recruiter to join our team at Dream Finders Homes. This role will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to meet the company's staffing needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and the ability to manage the full recruitment cycle efficiently while ensuring a positive candidate experience. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition. The Recruiter will serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring every candidate interaction reflects the values and culture of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Sourcing: Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for open positions.
- Source candidates using various platforms including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
- Screening & Selection: Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Hiring Process Management: Partner with hiring managers to prepare for best practice interviews, ensuring that all candidates are thoroughly vetted.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to offer acceptance.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies during recruitment and hiring.
- Candidate Experience: Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Promote the employer brand to attract high-quality applicants.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all candidates, regardless of hiring outcome.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source of hire.
- Provide regular updates and insights to management on hiring progress and market trends.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in home building.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
