Overview
Welcome to Positive Development, a new model of care in autism. We are seeking a Recruiter who thrives on sourcing passive candidates and filling mission-driven roles, with a focus on building a team of paraprofessionals and clinicians who make a real difference in the lives of children and adolescents with autism. This is a growth-focused role at a Series C startup backed by top institutional investors, as we scale to reach more families nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Build strong partnerships with clinical and operations leaders to understand hiring needs.
- Manage full-cycle, high-volume recruiting, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Proactively source passive candidates through networking, social platforms, and creative outreach.
- Develop and execute strategies for sourcing, screening, and interviewing paraprofessional candidates who meet our clinical standards.
- Utilize and optimize applicant tracking tools to ensure a smooth and organized candidate experience.
- Track and report on recruiting metrics, including sourcing, interviews, and hiring outcomes.
- Write and maintain job postings across multiple platforms, including our website.
- Gather and act on feedback from hiring managers and new hires to improve the recruitment process.
- Create and nurture strategic relationships with universities, community colleges, and local referral sources by attending on-campus and virtual hiring events.
- Champion Positive Development as an employer of choice across California.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- 2+ years of experience recruiting clinical roles within healthcare, health-tech, or similar.
- Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Boolean search, etc.
- Experience recruiting healthcare paraprofessional roles (preferred).
- Comfortable working independently and meeting goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility to adjust schedules across multiple time zones.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Location requirement: Location in Los Angeles, CA is a requirement. Candidates not located in Los Angeles will not be considered for the role.
