DataStaff is seeking a highly motivated Staffing Recruiter to join our team in a full-time opportunity. We partner with global clients and recruit across the US. We have expanded our client base and need to add recruiting talent to our IT and Non-IT teams. Summary

The Staffing Recruiter sources, screens, hires and retains qualified professionals to meet the office’s business needs of our clients. Recruiters are responsible for building a network of qualified candidates, evaluating skills in relation to the position requirements, and negotiating compensation. Recruiters are expected to be knowledgeable of industry trends within their market segment to identify top accounts, forecast opportunities, and consult with candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through various resources (job boards, internal ATS, employee referrals, local career colleges, professional networking groups, etc.)
  • Maintain a presence on professional social media sites (LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook), keeping them updated with new opportunities and consistently adding new contacts.
  • Proactively pipeline candidates in advance for assigned areas.
  • Thoroughly pre-screen candidates to the industry standards with resume review, phone interviews, in-person interviews, web-based interviews and reference verifications.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the interview process; briefing them on interview tips, client information and job information.
  • Negotiate salary expectations and clearly communicate to the Account Managers the expectations of the candidate.
  • Coordinate and extend job offers to candidates, and clearly communicate hires with HR and Payroll.
  • Develop an understanding of employment law, as it pertains to pre-hire screening and recruiting.
  • Gain client and industry knowledge through onsite meetings and relationship building events.
  • Practice excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as exhibit attention to detail.
  • Maintain recruiting metrics on your activity.

Requirements

  • 1 year of recruiting experience in a corporate or staffing environment is preferred but not required for this role.
  • Results driven, sense of urgency, and high standard of professionalism
  • Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to discuss salary with candidates and effectively negotiate pay.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite and email systems.
  • Negotiated base salary plus an uncapped commission program
