Job Summary
We are working with a rapidly expanding, multi-brand services company in the Nashville, Tennessee area seeking a talented and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their recruiting team. As they are in a period of significant growth, this role is crucial for sourcing, screening, and onboarding skilled candidates for their diverse portfolio of brands. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, energetic, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage High-Volume Recruiting: Handle a requisition load of 15-25 open positions at any given time, primarily focusing on blue-collar roles such as Drivers, Yard Coordinators, and Mechanics across multiple companies.
- Candidate Sourcing & Screening: Review full resumes and partial applications, conduct initial phone screenings, and serve as the primary point of contact for candidates.
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Work closely with different hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and align on hiring priorities.
- Onboarding & Compliance: Initiate and manage the screening process, including criminal background checks. Handle specific regulatory requirements as needed.
- Utilize Recruitment Tools: Leverage our internal and external resources to optimize candidate flow and manage the hiring pipeline.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record in a recruiting or high-volume talent acquisition role.
- An energetic, self-motivated, and driven individual who is great on the phones.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, teachable mindset and the ability to thrive in a team of three.
- Experience with recruiting for blue-collar roles is a plus, but not required.
- Rate: Equivalent to an $80,000-90,000/yr annual salary.
- Bonus: Eligible for a year-end bonus
- Term: This is a contract-to-hire (CTH) position, with the goal of converting to a full-time employee after a successful contract period.
- Schedule: On-site in Nashville with flexible hours; ideally a standard 8 AM to 5 PM schedule.
