Overview

Block Renovation is on a mission to transform home renovation. As a Contractor Recruiter, you'll be instrumental in expanding our contractor network—sourcing, engaging, and converting high-quality contractors to join our platform. Think of this role as a key growth role - part recruiter, part BDR/SDR.

Role and Responsibilities

• Source qualified contractors through directories, referrals, events, and online platforms
• Run outreach campaigns across calls, emails, and social media
• Build and manage a recruitment pipeline, tracking progress and conversion metrics
• Deliver compelling presentations on the value of Block's platform
• Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly recruitment and conversion goals

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in sales (SDR, BDR, AE), business development, recruiting, or a related field
• Comfort with high-volume outreach (calls, emails, social)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-starter with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Bonus: experience in construction, home services, or contractor networks

Block wants all employees to be supported in their personal and professional development, so we take a comprehensive approach to compensation and benefits. The initial salary for this position is expected to range from $90,000 to $110,000 for a NY-based or remote position. Actual compensation will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge and skills, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
