Position

The Office Recruiter will operate as an individual contributor, responsible for recruiting personnel. They will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating and placing personnel in domestic and international locations. This resource will serve as a high performing, highly skilled resource who has a successful track record of sourcing high quality candidates, executing on the end-to-end talent acquisition process.

Responsibilities

  • Source and attract candidates by using databases, recruiting sourcing tools, and other channels.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Perform job and task analyses to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Screen resumes and job applications.
  • Conduct interviews using reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
  • Assess applicants' relevant skills, knowledge, and organizational fit.
  • Onboard new employees to become fully integrated with the organization.
  • Understand the organization's plans and priorities to create and execute talent acquisition strategies and plans.
  • Understand workforce planning and staff forecasting and how this feeds into recruiting activities and timelines.
  • Actively keep management informed of progress.
  • Source candidates to fill priority roles.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, including pre-award.
  • Identify improvement areas and execute improvement actions.
  • Create and deliver Excel-based reports.
  • Determine when to use third-party resources.

Qualifications

  • Education: An undergraduate degree in human resources, business and/or a related discipline is required.
  • Professional Qualifications: 2+ years recruiting experience.
  • Prior experience sourcing high-quality candidates within a construction and engineering organization.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment; excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills; strong analytical thinker; comfortable working with data/Excel; strategic thinker and hands-on do-er.
  • Able to work with ambiguity and change; proactive, not reactive; able to solve challenges through innovation; able to work with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Experience with HR systems and tools such as an ATS and HRIS.
