Overview
Location: Avera Health. Worker Type: Regular. Work Shift: Primarily days with possible weekends/evenings/holidays (United States of America). Pay Range: $58,240.00 - $87,360.00. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM to 5PM - Hybrid Position
What you will do
- Responsible for the recruitment and placement of physician and advanced practice providers. Develops and implements innovative sourcing strategies that leverage social media platforms; preferred qualifications include education, training, and experience in marketing, advertising and social media.
- Provides input into the physician and advanced practice provider recruitment plan. Develops and delivers recruitment strategies by working with Administration, Management, and members to understand needs of the organization and create strategies to successfully recruit new members to the team.
- Coordinates the sourcing of physician and advanced practice provider candidates utilizing a variety of options.
- Completes candidate screening.
- Plans and coordinates site visits for physician and advanced practice provider recruits including transportation, accommodations, development of a complete itinerary to include facility and community information; assures that the salary and benefits packages are developed.
- Ensures the physician and advanced practice provider completes paperwork for license, credentialing, employment. Assists with required documentation with Human Resources/Medical Support Services to assure a smooth employment process including managing the relocation process.
- Oversees the arrangement for the orientation and integration of successful candidates into both the community and the organization.
- Prepares and processes initial member contracts and serves as a resource to Administration by producing contract amendments and addendums.
- Supports Administration in the securing locums and independent contract coverage when needed.
- Presents information to a variety of audiences, including medical students, residents, physician leadership, board of directors, etc.
- Serves as the primary contact for physician and advanced practice provider applicants/recruits for additional information requests.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience
- Bachelor's
- 1-3 years Related experience and/or training
