We're looking for a driven and creative Business Recruiter to play a key role in scaling our business teams (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Sales, Client Services) as we continue to grow. You won't just be filling roles you'll be shaping the future of AngelList by identifying, engaging, and hiring standout talent that drives our business forward. You'll work side-by-side with hiring managers and leadership, turning ambitious recruiting goals into action while keeping candidate experience at the center of everything you do.
What You'll Do:
- Own the full recruiting journey from initial kickoff through offer negotiation for a variety of high-impact business roles.
- Be a strategic partner to hiring managers by sharing insights on market trends, compensation, and best practices to refine our hiring approach.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent while ensuring an efficient interview process that leads to quality hires.
- Creatively source and engage top candidates using a mix of traditional and unconventional strategies.
- Champion data integrity by keeping our recruiting systems accurate and up-to-date to drive hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with our tight-knit Recruiting team to continuously improve processes and enhance our employer brand.
- Deliver an exceptional, personalized experience to every candidate ensuring each interaction reflects the values of AngelList.
What We're Looking For:
- 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with exposure to fast-growing startups.
- A track record of managing multiple priorities and roles in a fast-paced environment without losing focus on quality.
- Strong relationship-building skills with hiring managers, paired with an ability to advise and influence hiring strategy.
- Expertise in sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Covey, Lever) and an eye for creative talent acquisition methods.
- A passion for creating inclusive processes and delivering an outstanding candidate experience from start to finish.

AngelList has offices in two hub cities: San Francisco and New York City that you can choose to work from. We're focused on hiring within these hubs and people hired from these hub offices are expected to come into the office twice per week (Tuesdays and choice between Wednesday or Thursday).
Compensation: The compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary, performance based variable component, benefits, and an equity package. Compensation will be tailored to reflect a candidate's professional background, experience, and location, ensuring alignment with market benchmarks and internal equity. Additional details about our Total Rewards package will be provided during the recruitment process.
