Part-Time HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time HR Manager (24-30 hours per week) to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing HR functions including employee relations, performance management, training and development, recruitment and onboarding, benefits, and compliance. You will work closely with the HR Americas Team, as well as HR Center of Excellence Teams to support our HR strategies that align with our business goals, ensuring the company culture remains positive, and maintaining a productive and engaged workforce. This position is on-site at our Pompano Beach, Florida office.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between management and employees, addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, providing HR policy guidance, and fostering a positive working environment. This includes conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when required.
  • Performance Management: Rollout and monitor performance review programs to ensure continuous feedback and development. Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management and employee development. This includes creating and monitoring performance improvement plans / disciplinary action.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Work with HR Americas team on policy interpretation. Maintain Affirmative Action Plan data for annual reporting. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • HR Technology & Systems: Utilize Workday HRIS system and ADP Workforce Now to ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and efficient HR workflows. Run Workday and ADP reports to provide requested HR metrics and data to business.
  • Employee Engagement: Work with employee engagement survey data to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. This includes working with managers on survey responses and action plans.
  • Compensation: Support the annual compensation review process, local area benchmarking (in conjunction with Corporate Global Rewards Manager), and work with Payroll Manager to address any payroll issues.
  • Benefits: Administer and monitor benefit programs, including open enrollment, benefits orientation, support life and disability claims, etc.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Recruitment and onboarding for production and technician roles (including job posting creation, interviews, etc.). in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and oversee the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Promote and develop a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

Professional qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SPHR certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources
  • HR Technology: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Workday HRIS, ADP Workforce Now
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices, including ability to interpret and apply regulations and internal policies
  • Strong solutions-based stakeholder management experience with ability to work with a diverse range of employees and leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including an ability to present information and influence decisions at all organizational levels
  • Analytical experience with employment data and trends, with ability to translate that analysis into proposed solutions
