Job Overview: As an HR Generalist at Chai, you will be at the heart of everything we do. You’ll partner with leadership and employees to ensure our culture is thriving, support HR operations, and contribute to programs that drive employee engagement, development, and well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent for various tech and non-tech roles. Lead engaging and informative onboarding experiences to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Employee Relations: Be a trusted advisor for employees, helping to resolve issues and provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and conflict resolution. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and a culture of trust.
Performance Management & Employee Development: Collaborate with managers to drive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions. Help design and implement employee development initiatives that promote continuous learning and career growth.
HR Administration: Manage employee records, benefits administration, and compliance with federal and state regulations. Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
Employee Engagement & Culture: Play an active role in cultivating a positive, fun, and inclusive workplace. Lead or assist with team-building activities, events, and recognition programs that enhance employee satisfaction and morale.
Compensation & Benefits: Assist in the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits packages. Be the go-to person for questions about benefits, pay structure, and overall employee compensation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in HR or a related field, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge: Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements (e.g., ADA, FMLA, FLSA). Familiarity with HRIS systems and tools.
