Job Summary
The HR Generalist engages in the delivery of human resources management services, employee lifecycle, and project work to advance HR systems and practices for client companies. This role supports the implementation of standardized HR processes, ensures quality and consistency in service delivery, and supports team operations aligned with client expectations.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the client services team, manage and oversee client work related to specific talent management functions and projects, such as payroll, benefit administration, job descriptions, handbooks, performance management system design, employee surveys, investigations, training sessions, compensation benchmarking, onboarding and offboarding.
- Stay current on HR and talent management best practices, implementing and incorporating approaches into HR Collaborative’s service models.
- Regularly communicate project status updates to internal partners and client contacts; deepen relationships with clients by delivering on assignments according to established parameters and timelines.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and maintain HR Toolkits related to HR Project offerings.
- Collaborate on initiatives for HR Collaborative.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset regarding project management, quality of work outcomes, and systems utilization.

Supervision
Supervision Received: Specific Direction: Follows established work procedures. Receives periodic checks for performance. Refers unique questions/conditions to immediate supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Informal leadership: Responsible for executing and ensuring the quality and quantity of own work product. Provides training in client settings as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelors degree specializing in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in human resources.
- Prior experience managing HR projects.
- Strong proficiency in all aspects of full-scope human resource management.
- Project management and systems proficiency.
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels of the business and with external customers.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HRIS platforms.
