What You Will Do / Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR functional support to the Minneapolis and St. Cloud, MN facilities.
- Manage employee and labor relations, workforce planning, performance management, talent management, and partner with business leaders to translate HR metrics into actionable strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement of human resources services as a strategic partner to the business.
- Coordinate labor relations activities including contract interpretation and grievance administration.
- Serve as a strategic partner using data-driven diagnostics for decision-making to foster cultural change in business transformation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and State Laws including EEO, FMLA, HIPAA, ADA, and Collective Bargaining.
- Develop and continually improve safety and health processes for the facility and compliance with regulations.
- Manage administrative functions to ensure HR systems and records are accurate, consistent, and efficient.
- Oversee budget expense management and adjustments to align with business goals.
People and Culture / Change Leadership
- Serve as change agent.
- Promote employee and organizational development including leadership development, succession planning, performance management programs, skills gap analysis, and individual career development.
- Consult with General Managers and Operations Managers to understand how to navigate operational challenges and engineering issues.
- Consult and advise Plant Leadership Team on topics that could impact employee morale.
- Resolve people-related issues, settle disputes, and conduct internal investigative procedures.

What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with focus on human resources, organizational development or business.
- Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience with 3 years in Labor Relations. SHRM or HRCI certifications are a plus.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to investigate and assess employee conflicts objectively and resolve using coaching and conflict resolution tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines; lead change.
- Team-building and influencing skills; strong analytical/problem-solving ability.
