HR Generalist

Nailor Industries of Texas is a leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance air distribution products and systems. Our team is driven by excellence, and we are seeking an HR Generalist to join our growing HR team and help drive our people-first culture.

Position Overview

The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting our HR team and assisting with the full range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and compliance. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about creating positive employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, conducting initial phone screenings, and facilitating new hire onboarding.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, address employee concerns, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Support managers and employees with performance evaluation processes, feedback sessions, and coaching for improvement.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Assist with compensation management, benefits administration, and open enrollment periods. Ensure that employees are informed about available benefits and policies.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Assist with compliance efforts related to employment law and company policies. Maintain HR records and generate reports as needed.
  • Other HR Functions: Support the HR team with other tasks as needed to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with HR software (e.g., ADP, Paycor) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual (Vietnamese / Spanish) a plus
