Lead HR That Leads the Business

This isn’t just an HR Director role—it’s your chance to drive transformation at the intersection of people, performance, and profit.

We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic HR leader to own all facets of talent, compliance, and culture in a complex, performance-driven manufacturing environment. You’ll be a trusted advisor to the General Manager, a force multiplier for the executive team, and a builder of people-first programs that create measurable business impact.

What You’ll Own & Elevate

  • Strategic Alignment: Serve as the HR lead for the Senior Leadership Team, aligning talent strategies with go-to-market goals and operational plans

  • Represent HR in annual planning cycles (AOP, Strategic Plan, Talent Reviews)

  • Organizational Development: Shape career development, succession planning, 360 feedback, and performance management

  • Build and launch high-impact leadership programs and employee training initiatives

  • Lead and grow your own HR team while championing development across departments

  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as the point person for all policy guidance, coaching, and sensitive employee issues

  • Strengthen engagement, retention, and trust across shifts—including off-shift accessibility

  • Ensure compliance with DOL, EEOC, and all local/federal labor regulations

  • HR Compliance & Admin Excellence: Deliver a monthly HR Scorecard with actionable insights for leadership

  • Act as Ethics Officer for the business unit, reinforcing a culture of integrity

  • Build compliance into the DNA of the organization—not just the manuals

  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding: Design and execute strategic recruitment campaigns to elevate the talent pool

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting (internal + agency), interview calibration, and onboarding

  • Prioritize diversity, topgrading, and high-potential identification

  • Compensation, Benefits & Systems: Guide annual salary planning, incentives, and performance-aligned rewards

  • Oversee HRIS and timekeeping systems with a focus on accuracy and automation

  • Manage benefits enrollment and ensure seamless delivery across the team

  • Safety & Risk Management: Partner with Ops and Safety teams to uphold training, compliance, and wellness

  • Liaise with Workers’ Comp providers to drive closure and resolution on claims

Who You Are

  • 10+ years in progressive HR roles, including team leadership

  • Proven track record in manufacturing, engineering, or lean environments

  • Expert in employee relations, conflict resolution, and cultural transformation

  • Confident communicator and advisor to senior leaders and operators alike

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office and modern HR systems (ADP, Workday, SAP, etc.)

  • Holds a Bachelor’s in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s a strong plus)

  • Able to think critically, act tactfully, and lead fearlessly

Why You’ll Thrive Here

You’ll be at the helm of a stable yet scaling business where HR is seen as a driver—not an afterthought. With full ownership of the function and a mandate to modernize, this is a rare chance to shape a company’s future through its people.

If you’re ready to move beyond the back office and into the boardroom of influence—this is your role.
