Insight Global is seeking an HR Generalist for a 6-month contract position with the potential for permanent hire in Salem, NH. This individual will primarily provide support to a 24/7 call center and various business departments within an insurance organization. Key responsibilities encompass onboarding, offboarding, posting job openings, recruiting, and screening candidates, along with overseeing Workday processes and addressing employee inquiries. The role also involves handling administrative tasks, offering HR support, managing timesheets, and ensuring seamless access to internal systems for new hires. The ideal candidate should possess experience with Workday, a solid foundation in HR practices, exposure to recruiting processes, and exceptional attention to detail. Additional qualifications such as a bachelors degree in HR, employee relations expertise, and familiarity with call center environments would be beneficial for this role.
Manage onboarding, offboarding, recruiting, and posting positions
Screen candidates and filter out unqualified applicants
Work closely with multiple teams for Workday employee setup
Ensure terminations are processed correctly in Workday
Assist employees/managers with timesheets, payroll inquiries, and pay stub issues
Collaborate with employee relations, closely supporting local HR Manager
Support 100+ on various issues and work closely with the leadership team
Post job openings and conduct interviews
Address challenges like timesheet tracking on a weekly basis, timely payroll approvals, and Workday process errors

Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
Experience in employee relations
Previous involvement in special HR projects or initiatives
Previous experience in a call center environment
Experience with Workday, specifically supporting employees with questions on the system
Strong HR knowledge and administrative skills
Exposure to recruiting processes
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
Quick learner with excellent communication skills
