Your Role

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Generalist to support and coordinate HR initiatives for an assigned business unit. This role drives a high-performance culture by ensuring compliance, consistency, and alignment with company values and policies. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong HR knowledge, and delivers strategic and administrative support that makes an impact. What Are You Going To Do?
  • Serve as a trusted HR point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries related to policies, procedures, benefits, and general employment matters.
  • Partner closely with the HR Manager to support employee relations, policy administration, compensation, compliance, and other core HR functions.
  • Act as an expert resource for interpreting HR policies, employment law, and compliance practices within the business unit.
  • Collaborate with regional HR teams to ensure alignment and consistency in the application of company policies and practices.
  • Support full-cycle recruitment and staffing within the business unit, contributing to talent acquisition strategies and onboarding.
  • Manage and process new hire documentation, benefits enrollment, and onboarding tasks to ensure a seamless experience for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate regular reports related to headcount, turnover, PTO, and other workforce metrics.
  • Assist in the rollout of compensation and benefit initiatives and support related training and communication efforts.
  • Partner with leadership and HR management to resolve employee concerns and foster a positive, productive work environment.
  • Lead or support special projects and other HR initiatives as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 35 years of progressive HR experience with exposure to employee relations, policy interpretation, and generalist responsibilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state labor laws, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience in database and records management.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and build relationships across all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
  • Experience supporting logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations environments is a plus.
