Patomak is looking for an HR Manager to serve as both a strategic advisor and operational manager. The HR Manager will lead the ongoing review, development, and enhancement of HR policies and practices across the organization. Additionally, the role will require the execution and continuous improvement of core HR processes, ensuring all HR operations are effectively implemented and aligned with the firm’s culture and business goals. Five or more years of experience in HR Management, preferably with a consultancy company, is required.

Overview of Job Duties:
- Evaluate and enhance all human resources policies and procedures across the firm.
- Provide strategic guidance on recruiting and hiring best practices.
- Optimize compensation structures.
- Audit and refine the performance review and goal-setting framework.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and support a healthy workplace culture.
- Manage and grow the internship program.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding experiences of all employees and contractors.
- Conduct and analyze employee surveys to inform HR strategies.
- Maintain, update, and align the employee handbook.
Skills and Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HR and Time Management software and best practices.
- Experience with compensation structure of a professional services company.
- Familiarity with recruiting and hiring policymaking.
- Familiarity with labor law, particularly in New York and Washington, D.C.
- Experience with dispute resolution.
- Experience with intern program management is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced individual and small team environment.
- Ability to establish, maintain, and grow effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications in HR field is preferred.
Salary Range:
$80,000-$105,000
Salary will be commensurate with experience, and employee will be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on individual performance and firm performance.
