Overview
Global fintech software company is currently searching for an HR Business Partner to join a fast paced and innovative HR team. The HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management while serving as a trusted advisor to the company’s leaders across North America. You will also be involved in leading and supporting HR projects across a wide variety of HR areas ensuring consistent global delivery is followed.
This team is responsible for managing HR programs, processes and strategic initiatives which span the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, performance management, organization planning, compensation, analytics, immigration, and employee engagement.
Role Overview
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s human resources functions. You’ll collaborate closely with leaders, employees, and other HR professionals across the globe to ensure effective people management and organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the U.S Senior HR Business Partners to support the execution of key human resources processes and programs related to culture, employee engagement, performance management, talent development and employee relations.
- Build relationships with U.S. employees to establish yourself as the contact on people related matters to Line level managers.
- Analyze human capital data to identify trends and themes to inform decision making.
- Support special projects and bring innovative thinking, creativity, and an analytical mindset to every project.
- Collaborate with managers and HR colleagues to propose and implement strategies that support employee engagement, development and retention of employees.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Support the performance management and compensation review processes, while serving as a coach and advisor to leaders and managers.
- Establish strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders across HR as well as in other departments including IT, Finance, Legal and Compliance.
- Provide support to Senior HR Business Partners, on day-to-day tasks as well as strategic initiatives and projects.
- Act as the point person for all exit interviews and report key themes and opportunities to leadership.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or another related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years progressive human resources experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload to meet timelines
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills leading to thoughtful decision making
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and roles simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate with employees and leaders to build high performing teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills / Experience
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP highly desired
- Experience in the technology or financial services industries a plus
The actual salary will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. Salary range: $125,000 - $145,000
