Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and bilingual Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, helpful, and efficient shopping experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with warmth and professionalism
• Accurately operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash, card, and EBT transactions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area
• Assist customers with returns, product inquiries, and locating merchandise
• Suggest products or promotions to support store sales goals
• Help stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain front-end appearance
• Answer phone calls and route inquiries appropriately
• Support or help train junior staff as needed

Qualifications

• Prior retail, grocery, or cashier experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable handling cash and performing quick, accurate math
• Bilingual in Portuguese and English is required; Spanish is a plus
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and thrive in a fast-paced setting
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
