Position Overview:
We are seeking a Cashier to join our team at Weatherford College! The Cashier will deliver friendly, helpful customer service and ensure the efficient operation of the Campus Store. Responsibilities include operating the cash register, assisting with inventory maintenance, and supporting the daily presentation and organization of merchandise. This position offers on-the-job training and a supportive team environment.
What you will be doing:
- Assisting customers in-store and over the phone with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Operating the cash register accurately in line with store policies and procedures
- Maintaining clean and organized displays, ensuring shelves are stocked and well presented
- Checking in, pricing, and displaying supplies and merchandise
- Participating in inventory counts and tracking stock levels
- Recording price changes and promotions accurately
- Notifying staff about out-of-stock or defective items
- Following up with customers regarding special orders and notifying them of any issues or arrivals
- Reporting marketing trends and customer feedback to the supervisor
- Completing additional duties as assigned
