Job Description: Cashier at Firehouse Subs

The cashier position is critical to the daily success of the restaurant. It’s a guest-facing role, often the first point of contact after the initial greeting.

Job Requirements:

1. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
2. Excellent menu and product knowledge.
3. Responsible for the accuracy of guest orders.
4. Effective communication with guests, handling questions and concerns professionally.
5. Proficient in using the POS system.
6. Maintain accuracy of the cash drawer.
7. Team player attitude.
8. Sincerely thank guests for their business.
9. Participate in Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
10. Keep an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
11. Willing to perform other restaurant duties such as food preparation or cleaning, as directed by management.
12. Adhere to all food safety and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
13. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
