Overview

Discount Home Deals Inc is seeking a Cashier to join our team at the Linden, NJ location. This is a full-time role with five to six days of work per week, including evenings and weekends. Prior experience is not required, but the following qualities are desirable: working long hours and fluency with numbers/basic mental math.

Salary: $14 - $15 per hour. This position includes additional benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patrons
• Manage cash transactions using our retail systems
• Maintain accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Assist with other front desk duties as necessary
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, sales, or financial services is strongly preferred
• Must have a valid work visa: US Citizen, Green Card, EAD / TN, H1B, H4, F1, F2, L2, H2B, STEM, J1, OPT, CPT
• Previous cooking experience is a plus
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends
