Base Pay

This role has a minimum base pay starting from $15.00 per hour, with potential for higher starting pay based on experience.

Purpose:

As a Cashier (Customer Service Associate), you are the first and last point of contact for Floor & Decor’s customers. Your responsibilities include providing excellent customer service through greeting customers, processing transactions, handling product returns, performing basic cash office functions, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
  2. Engage with customers, inquire about their projects, recommend products, and generate excitement about their purchases.
  3. Provide above-and-beyond customer service to exceed expectations.
  4. Comply with the company’s safety procedures.
  5. Work in alignment with the company’s core values.
  6. Process transactions at checkout using the POS system.
  7. Handle refunds and exchanges according to company guidelines.
  8. Open and close registers.
  9. Follow established procedures for accepting cash, checks, and credit cards.
  10. Answer phone calls per company standards.
  11. Stock, tag, and display merchandise as required.
  12. Create price tags and signage for merchandise.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Basic math skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Potential travel to support other store locations

Working Conditions (travel & environment):

  • Occasional exposure to warehouse environments and moving vehicles.
  • Work environment noise levels are typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:

  • Medium work capacity: exerting 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling and feeling.
  • Occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Pickup Hours

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
