Responsibilities

• Greet customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Reconcile cash drawer daily.
• Promptly and efficiently answer multi-line switchboard and direct customer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Maintenance and filing of Service Repair Orders, Parts Counter Tickets, hard copies.
• Perform any other special duties as requested by the Dealer and other Managers.
• Regular attendance consistent with attendance policy.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• 18 years of age or older required.
