Overview

Bettenhausen Automotive is looking for part-time Service Cashiers to join our award-winning teams in Orland Park & Tinley Park!

Responsibilities

• Receipting monies collected for service repair orders, parts counter tickets, and vehicle sales
• Assist with scheduling service appointments for customers
• Verify service and parts invoices are closed properly with the correct pay codes
• Guaranteeing checks through the UTA guarantee system following policy guidelines
• Balancing the cash drawer and finalizing the deposit
• Provide backup coverage for main reception desk
• Organize and file service and accounting files as needed; purge files when necessary
• Light lifting

Part Time Position

• Variable evenings: Monday - Friday 3:30pm - Close (between 7 and 8pm), and rotating Saturdays

• Must have a positive attitude
• Must provide exceptional customer service
• Previous cashier experience preferred
• Previous Automotive experience preferred
• Accounting knowledge is a plus – this position can provide great experience for accounting majors!
• Proficient computer skills
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• High School Diploma or equivalent
