Position Summary

What you\'ll do includes maintaining safety, delivering member service, merchandise presentation, sales floor upkeep in the liquor area, cash register handling, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of facility by following safety standards, procedures and guidelines; conducts safety sweeps; follows forklift spotting procedures; reports unsafe situations to management.
• Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the company\'s products and services.
• Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up and organizing displays; removing damaged goods; pricing merchandise; securing fragile and high-shrink items.
• Maintains the sales floor in the liquor area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Operates cash registers or related equipment; processes member purchases and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Maintains cash registers and lanes; reduces shrink by stocking register supplies and ensuring proper handling of concealed merchandise; aims to meet frontend performance goals.
• Follows company and legal policies for liquor sales by securing merchandise, maintaining signage, verifying member identification, and completing required paperwork.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00 per hour. The actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
