ATCO Frontec is seeking a Janitor to join our Camp Services team near Delta Junction, Alaska, USA. The Janitor/Driver is responsible for ensuring the highest sanitation standards are upheld throughout the Camp.

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Janitor to join our Camp Services team near Delta Junction, Alaska, USA. The Janitor/Driver is responsible for ensuring the highest sanitation standards are upheld throughout the Camp.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform janitorial and cleaning duties to maintain the highest sanitation standards.
  • Ensure the proper order, maintenance, and cleanliness of all janitorial equipment.
  • Drive a company vehicle to various locations, including offices and camp spaces, to provide cleaning services.
  • Clean and maintain lobbies, common areas, gyms, restrooms, offices, walkways, ramps, and stairways.
  • Ensure walkways are free from snow, mud, and other debris, both inside and outside the buildings.
  • Operate and maintain a 35-passenger bus for transportation when required.
  • Sweep, scrub, wash, and polish floors, as well as clean rugs.
  • Dust furniture, wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork to maintain a clean environment.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to the appropriate disposal area.
  • Perform garbage removal and ensure proper disposal protocols are followed.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies as needed.
  • Handle additional janitorial or cleaning tasks as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in janitorial, cleaning, or custodian roles (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Work Schedule:

  • Rotation: 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off
  • Shifts: 12 hours per day (day or night)

This role is essential for ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities, contributing to a positive environment for all occupants.
