As a valued member of the Guardian Professional Services Team, you will provide a safe and clean environment to various airline passengers. We are seeking a motivated, friendly team member who will perform general cleaning duties in designated areas as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
• Dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings, and dusts and polishes light fixtures.
• Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas.
• Removes stains from surfaces such as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Performs general restroom cleaning including toilets, urinals, floors, and sinks.
• Empties waste baskets and replaces liners.
• Dusts/cleans tops of office furniture and vacuums carpeting.
• Spot cleans soiled areas on carpets as needed.
• Sweeps and mops tile areas, wipes/cleans vending machines and appliances, and cleans sink and counter areas.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Working experience of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities is a MUST.
• Must have good listening and verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to speak English and Spanish.
• Must maintain a neat appearance; a uniform is required at worksites.
• Must attend periodic training and safety meetings.
• Must be punctual and able to understand and anticipate the needs of clients.

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping and building janitorial work needed.
