Janitor Job at LINK Staffing Services in Cypress

LINK Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation for our client in Cypress, TX. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment by performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:30 pm - 12 am (2 weeks of training will be Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm)

Base pay: $16/hr

Shift Differential: $1/hr

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum warehouse floors regularly
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and office areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to appropriate disposal areas
• Dust surfaces, vents, and other fixtures throughout the facility
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Clean up spills promptly and report any hazardous conditions
• Maintain cleaning equipment and notify supervisors of needed repairs or supply shortages
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as required (e.g., changing light bulbs, minor repairs)
• Follow safety protocols and wear proper protective equipment at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience, especially in an industrial or warehouse environment, is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to understand and speak English

Work Environment

This position involves exposure to dust, noise, and occasional heavy lifting in a large warehouse setting.
