Overview

Job Title: Janitor (Daytime)

Cape Fox Lodge is seeking a Janitor to maintain cleanliness of the beautiful Cape Fox Lodge, the premier lodging destination in Ketchikan.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning the lobby
• Cleaning the restaurant
• Cleaning outside the lodge building
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the other hotel areas and hotel grounds

Travel Requirements

0 - 10%

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required
• Demonstrated ability to work with efficiency in a high-paced environment.
• Adherence to hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Positive attitude and a good team player.
• Active listening and effective communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Flexible availability to work a variable schedule, including but not limited to evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Able to lift upwards of 50 pounds
• Physical stamina for standing for long periods throughout shifts
• Ability to work with chemicals, dust, allergens, etc. without issue
• Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
