We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Porter to help keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. You’ll support the building by maintaining cleanliness inside and out, assisting with move-ins, and supporting high standards. Responsibilities

• Sweep sidewalks, terraces, lobbies, and hallways
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Respond to spills, weather-related messes, or safety hazards

• Clean floors, glass, mirrors, brass, and woodwork
• Deep clean as needed (carpet cleaning, grout scrubbing, waxing floors)
• Maintain common areas like laundry rooms, fitness centers, and offices
• Report damage or safety issues

• Clean stairwells, service areas, and the compactor room
• Change light bulbs and assist with unit preparations
• Use building systems to log tasks and report issues

• Cover front desk during breaks
• Monitor service doors during move-ins and deliveries
• Assist with unit inspections and tours

• Set up and clean shared spaces for events
• Support logistics and cleanup for building gatherings

• Maintain cleanliness and odor control in elevators, trash rooms, and amenities
• Support recycling and composting programs
• Participate in team meetings and cross-training

Compensation

• $19.75 per hour

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Qualifications

• 1-2 years janitor, cleaner, or porter experience
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and reliability
• Team player with good time management
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8 hours
• Light maintenance skills are a plus
