Porter/ Janitor Job at United Facility Services Corp. dba Eastco Building Servic

Seeking Porter for Government Building in Batavia, NY

Candidate must meet the following qualifications:

1. Pass a government background check and drug test.
2. Have 3-5 years of janitorial experience.
3. Be reliable and dependable.
4. Ability to follow tasks and schedules, and work well with upper management.
5. Ability to lift 20 lbs, including pushing and pulling janitor carts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Floor maintenance: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming.
2. Dusting: high and low areas.
3. Garbage removal.
4. Glass cleaning.
5. Bathroom disinfection and replenishing supplies.
6. Floor machine experience is a plus (buffing, stripping, waxing); training will be provided.

After 90 days, employees are eligible to join the UNION.

Benefits include vacation pay, sick pay, personal time, and vacation after 1 year of service. 401(k) employer contributions start after 1 year.

Open shifts include full-time overnight shifts, weekend work, or part-time fill-in work.
